Let’s start with pre-op, Selena was very welcoming from the first day I met her along with the other staff. That process was quick and easy just a lot of paperwork to sign. Surgery day was very smooth I did not wait too long, I arrived by 5:30am and was in by 8:00am. My post op visit was rough due to the pain level but the staff helped me get through it. My doctor had amazing bedside manners. I’m not sure why Avana has negative reviews but I had an amazing experience.

I started working with a Avana back in January had my surgery March 17 found that I had a great experience. I had a wonderful one on one care from the staff. They were happy they were pleasant they treated me like a princess. Their prices were affordable, were very educational, and guiding me on my recovery journey. I could not choose a better place.

I had a great experience overall. My results are great and it’s only been three days. Rosy gives me greats massages and the manager was also great. All the staff has been awesome and I will come back. Dr. Dress was excellent and he gave me a sense of security and I knew the minute I met him that everything was going to be great.

Communication in the beginning before you arrive needs improvement. As soon as I arrived pre op was great I did not wait more than 5 minutes to be called everything was fast. My appointment was at 11am and I was out by 12:05. Surgery day was a long a process but well worth It . Dr.valladares did a wonderful job. He was informative and realistic about what can be done. Staff was super nice the nurses in recovery were attentive. If I wanted to have another surgery I would definitely come back.

I’ve had a great experience since the start. My coordinator responded all my questions until the day of the surgery. Dr.McDaniel has such good bedside manners. He genuinely cares about his patients. The day of the surgery everyone made me feel so comfortable and cared for. From the nurses , anesthesiologist, and definitely from Dr.McDaniel. Even after the surgery Dr.McDaniel has been very responsive to all my questions ! I definitely rate this doctor and cosmetic center 5 stars!

I had a great experience at Avana, i’m a returning patient. I’ve been a patient with Dr. Mameniskis 3 times. Each experience was very smooth and I no issues. The facility is clean and sanitized, and the workers are very nice. They communicate well. It was quick wait, i was in and out of there in about an hour. I highly recommend Avana Plastic Surgery.

Everything was lovely including the staff! Dr. Z was my doctor for my lipo 360 with the bbl fat transfer and he was amazing, his energy is great and he explains everything you need to know. So far I am loving my results! I have referred several to him and they have booked appointments already. Avana and Dr. Z highly recommended

Angelica Pastrano was amazing! As soon as i met her she was friendly and made me feel comfortable. The entire Avana team was pleasant as soon as I arrived and put me at ease for my procedure. They constantly checked in on me during wait times to provide updates and to ask if I have any questions.

So let’s start with Kaleena 😩😂 I love her I’ve been dealing with Kaleena for a long time. We go way back like four flats on a Cadillac 😂 she’s very understanding and more than helpful. I look forward to my journey with her while I accomplish my goal on having this surgery. If I had to recommend anyone it’ll definitely be her. She’s awesome!

Recovery girls were nice and helped me when I called thank you Fatima and other nurses. The clinic was very clean and staff was wonderful from beginning to end. I would recommend Avana to anyone who’s thinking about having surgery.

Excellent place and amazing staff. My experience was great specially in post op. They are very nice and really took care of me. My medical assistant was very nice and explained me everything, the nurse practitioner very sweet and professional, she saw me every day and was very knowledgeable about the whole process. Thank you all 🤗

Coming all the way from Boston I had a great experience by Dr. Moradian. I looked at so many facilities and was so happy I went with Avana. He is one of the top surgeon and the staff is friendly, kind, and help each other to make sure I was feeling great. They educated me on how to take care of myself post op. I would highly recommend everyone to come to Avana plastic surgery especially with my doctor. I love him so much. He was very friendly and serious and safety first is his Motto and answered all my questions. I am 5 days post op and I love it here! I will update my results on sues__nails on Instagram and Facebook.

The experience was better after I had my procedure , but leading up to was a mess. I feel like the the facility is a bit in organized. Especially I was at their sister company that closed 2 weeks before my procedure so it was a mess getting my stuff transferred over. I feel like they don’t communicate well to the clients about things going on. I loved my doctors and results though . The massages are painful but they get the fluid out.

Rosie, Fatima and Lisette were the girls in the recovery room. They were super sweet and we g out of their way. Dr. Moradian is the best hands down. He has the best bedside manner. I definitely would have surgery again with him.

Dr.McDaniel was excellent, he cares for his patients and his bedside manners was great. Safety first with him. Very clean and beautiful clinic. Post operative was nice, masseuse was gentle and informative. Overall great experience!!

Had breast implants put in aug 2022 and have been sick and in pain ever since. Surgeon and clinic are unresponsive. Additionally a portion of my planned surgery could not be done and I was told to reach out for a refund to which I’ve also received no response on. Seems they just ignore you once they have your money. The implants are not in place, causing so much pain daily, completely uneven and honestly look 10x worse than before and I 100% regret getting them done, especially from here. Spend a little extra money and go to a private surgeon who will actually care about the results and follow up with you when you have concerns. Additionally Dr Dress does not have medical malpractice insurance so most lawyers will not file suit against that- but there are some and I will not hesitate to utilize those lawyers because this place is a scam. My health is deteriorating and I’m owed $1k and get no reply from them. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

The staff was very caring, gentle, and patient. The anesthesiologist made me feel very comfortable before the procedure. Dr. Scurlock was honest and realistic with expectation and goals. My massage therapist, Diana was great. She is conscious of how you are feeling during the process and knowledgeable. I am very satisfied with my overall experience.

The staff was wonderful, caring and very informative. Avana is my home away from home. You definitely won’t be disappointed with choosing Avana. Dr.Mameniskis was wonderful, I loved him. He actually listens to you to understand what you want and I have amazing results.

My experience was Amazing! Starting with my preop appointment with Naomi and Stephanie to surgery day with Dr. Scurlock to the post op staff . Avana is super welcoming and clean. I am super happy with my results I will be back again for my breast.

The staff was amazing, great customer service. I initially went in for a mommy makeover, but after seeing Dr McDaniel, he recommended options for optimal best results. He mentioned with the shape I have, getting the fat off first would be ideal and I’ll be happier going back for a tummy tuck after the lipo 360. He noticed I have firm good breast tissue they were just droopy from children and breast feeding. He felt I would be happier with a lift instead of silicone for the outcome that I wanted. I took his advice and got the lipo 360 and breast lift no silicone.

Updating review. If you go In knowing that your going to a surgery center in Miami Florida and your familiar with that culture then you will have no problems with their lack in expression of adequate medical treatment. Centers are usually run at high volumes. So knowing that customer service is not their top priority, you’ll be fine. What I don’t appreciate is right after waking up from surgery a “nurse” or whoever she was took my phone and left a Google review on my behalf from my phone while I’m at a vulnerable position getting ready to be wheeled down for pick up. I woke up freezing and ready to go as soon as I opened my eyes from their lack of attention.
I would not come here again although I love my surgeon and my results. I just don’t think there is a lot of competency through this center other than their doctors. They care more about social media content then their patients. My medical assistant did not provide me accurate post op care and now I’m left surfing Google for proper post op instructions. She looked at me as if I should know what to do. After you see your doctor for surgery you will not see another nurse or doctor (request nurse which there is only 1 from what I seen) . You will only see “medical assistants” the one whom I was assigned, I was not impressed with her education and training to inform me of post op care. If you decide to go here please know what to expect, though I thought I did from 1000 hours of research it was worse than I thought. They really don’t care about YOU and I can feel it. I would go to my surgeon Dr. Christopher Dress again as I love my results and he was really nice. Also my massage therapist made my experience amazing!! I love her!
Everyone else acted like I was just another number. No more surgery centers for me only private practices if I ever decide to get work done again.

My experience with Avana was awesome! The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The shared with me everything I needed to know after my procedure. My massages were great and done by professionals. I definitely recommend Avana for all procedures. It worth the investment, do your part and they will fulfill your need.

So my coordinator is Gianni. This has been the worst communication ever. Then if you call they won’t answer any questions and just tell you to wait on your coordinator. So the coordinator doesn’t check emails obviously daily, so you have to wait 24 hours to receive an answer to a question. I am excited about next week and if I hadn’t already paid and met my surgeon who is dope I would’ve chose another place. When you pay for a service o expect their staff to be professional And communicate in a timely manner.

Dr. Z, was amazing, the service was great. The nurses were great, always making sure you are okay and if you need anything. I definitely recommend Avana. If I need it I will for sure come back.

Excelente place, i had surgery a few weeks ago and my experience was the best. Post op department was awesome , everybody is very nice and they care about the patient. My medical assistant and the nurse practitioner (rice) are the Best. I really recommend avana.

My preoperative appointment was quick and my doctor was Dr.Luster. she was great,clinic was very clean and the staff was wonderful and pleasant. My coordinator was great as well Jennisy was very patient with me with helping me choose my procedure and she was very Informative. I am happy with the experience at avana and I can’t wait to heal.

Had my surgery done yesterday and postop today and my experience was amazing. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly especially Selena who eased all my concerns before heading back home since I am from out of state. Will be coming back very soon

I would definitely recommend Avana for anyone looking into plastic surgery. This was my second round of lipo 360 but it was my first time at this practice. Dr.McDaniel was amazing he answered all my questions he was patient and checked on me a lot. The staff was also so nice and the massage therapist was very gentle.

My girl’s results look wonderful! They educated me on the way to take care of her after surgery and they were communicative with when it was time to pick her up. Clean facility, great staff!

My experience here was amazing !! i met selena at pre op and she helped me navigate through the different departments in the clinic. My post op massages were great and so was the staff. My doctor made me feel so comfortable.i love my results !!

Great experience, Dr. Valladares is amazing, he toke a good care of me, he did an amazing job with my MMO, I feel and look like a new person. Diana, from post op was so kind and patient, and Yolanda (massages) was also great. I just have good things to said about my experience.

I had surgery on 12/15 and I have yet to see Doctor Dress post-op. I found it highly unprofessional to have had major surgery and he not assess me afterwards to make sure everything is healing right or if I am even happy with the results. I felt very uncomfortable being assessed by a Medical
Assistant seeing that they are not licensed
professionals and DO NOT have the scope of
practice to be able to assess, educate nor treat patients and I voiced my concerns to multiple staff at the facility. Prior to me leaving I was assessed by the nurse practitioner. I informed her of my concerns
regarding necrosis of my incision. She looked it over and as she removed the tape she noted that the incisions was beginning to open up. She told me to apply Bacitracin ointment and ABD Pad and to leave the tape off of that section. I’m not sure if she informed Dr. Dress regarding the incision and or my concerns since I requested to be contacted by him
multiple times and all the staff refused to allow me to get in touch with him. It is beyond frustrating and upsetting. I feel as though I was not being “heard” or my concerns regarding speaking and being evaluated by Dr. Dress was not validated. What’s even more disheartening is that I am back home and
having to deal with this issue. And not having the primary surgeon following up with me and my complications.5

Rosie,lizette,Fatima and Le Sandra in recovery were absolutely amazing. Then Yolanda the massage therapist was just amazing what an asset the this place the MA Diana not only is she good but the kindness she made you feel so good. First time having plastic surgery tummy tuck, lipo and breast lift and the experience from here starting with Dr Vallerress to his PA to his MA then massage therapist and even the ladies in the front office. I had NO PAIN, I was walking the same day I even went to casinos on day 2 and 3 and beach on day 4. AMAZING AMAZING

My experience with avana was great. My doctor was dr scurlock. He was very comforting and excited about his skills on what he can do. very upbeat and realistic. I’m super happy with my results, I look so good, everything is snatched correctly.
My aftercare recovery was fast ngl. I healed pretty fast. Drink a lot of water (I drank packs and packs of water) and walk a lot every hour, you have to or your pain will be worse you’ll be stiff. My massages were done by Ligia Ysac and she was wonderful. Talks you through it, playing soft music, it was very relaxing.

Dr.Moradian is so amazing and boy is he such a snack . I wish He would have went on a date with me but that’s besides the point . My surgery was awesome and it’s been 3 weeks and my results are amazing . I would Definitely recommend him and his bed side manners are beyond amazing . The only little minor complaint i have Is that my surgery was changed to the day before so it kinda complicated my city girl activities but after meeting Dr.Moradian it was soooooo worth it

Took my girlfriend here the other day to get her BBL, and the staff were very professional and polite, the interior of the clinic was very clean and organized, and as for the surgery, it went very well. My girlfriend is extremely satisfied with the surgery and it’s made life at home great! I couldn’t recommend this clinic enough as it does wonders!
