Pre-Event Questions
What makes PBR different than other events?
Our model is simple. Each of our states is operated by a scouting director and staff that has boots on the ground and knows the territory.
During the course of a year, we are continually providing coverage on everything amateur baseball within your region. Likewise, our relationships run deep with high school, summer, and college coaches to help create connections and provide opportunities for players in the midst of the recruiting process.
What is included in a Showcase?
Each of our showcases are different in terms on what you will receive. Make sure you read the product details about an event before you sign up. Some events due to space and restrictions will only allow the running of a Home to First time instead of a 60-yard dash time. Some events are game based, where you will get an extended in and out, batting practice, and some sort of game play. Most showcases will provide you with an online profile, verified statistics, picture, and a video that is HOSTED on the PBR Site. You will need a subscription to view videos.
How many college coaches will be at the event? Nonetheless, each event is different, and as a result, the number of scouts present varies; especially depending on the time of the year and recruiting restrictions put upon schools. Typically, our Top Prospect Games, the Future Games, and the Underclass Games are our most highly scouted events. Prior to registering for an event, ask your state director the best events for you to attend. Can you guarantee my child will be signed by coming to an event?
Players that attend a Prep Baseball Report event are being seen by more than just the college coaches present that day. Over 700 programs subscribe to the PBR web site.
Unfortunately, we cannot make this guarantee. But, we can guarantee that you will be included in the number one trusted baseball recruiting site. And, in the process, you will receive an objective evaluation of your son from our professional staff along with video, verified statistics, and promotion through our web site and social media infrastructure.
What Do I need to bring to a Showcase?
Every player should bring what they bring to a typical baseball game. You will need all your equipment. Make sure to check the event preview so you are aware of what type of cleats (metal/molded) or turfs are allowed. We suggest bringing some sort of drink and snack as the days can be long. I would wear baseball pants as well. You will be provided a t-shirt for most events.
Why won’t my payments and registration not go through? When is the schedule coming out for the upcoming event?
We are sorry that you are having issues registering on the site. Typically, this occurs when credit card accounts aren’t aligned with the proper billing address. If you cannot resolve the issue, pleaseclick hereto contact our staff.
Typically, our schedules are released one week prior to events. We finalize the schedule and make necessary adjustments based on several factors, including the final number of players attending, the number of players in specific sessions, etc.
What can I do to receive an invite to “invite-only” events?
It is easy. Simply click on link to request an invite. And, when you fill it out, be comprehensive.
If you haven’t attended an event or it has been awhile since you attended your last event, please provide us with as much information as possible, including links to video, coaching references, etc.
If you recently attended an event, please provide us with any necessary updates outside of the information that is already included within your player profile.
What events are the best to attend to get the most exposure to colleges? Can I go to a PBR event in a state other than the one I live in? My son got injured, can I get a refund or camp credit?
Our most highly scouted events are the Future Games (a national event for rising juniors and sophomores), Top Prospect Games (a state event for rising seniors, juniors and sophomores), the Unsigned Senior Games, and the Underclass Games (a state event for rising freshman and sophomores).
Yes, you can attend events outside of your home state. Our directors communicate information between states when this sort of situation occurs. But, make sure that you keep your state director updated with your results from the event!
Yes, our cancellation policy allows you to transfer your full credit to a future event. Please contact your state director and notify him ASAP if you will be missing an event. Once you are ready to attend a future event, we will provide a coupon code that allows you to use your previous credit.
Does every player get ranked after attending an event?
Our rankings are comprehensive and not simply based on players that attend one of our events. Consequently, if you attend an event, it does not guarantee that you will be ranked. Throughout the course of the year, we are attending high school and summer games, non-PBR showcases, and other events. Ultimately, this information along with insight from college and professional coaches helps us develop our overall player rankings.
How long does it take for profiles to be updated? Can I have access to my own video? You can also download your video for personal use by signing up for a ProspectPLUS Membership.
We know that your profile is important to the recruiting process. It is our goal to update your profile as quickly as possible. Typically, this process takes two to three weeks. But, it can sooner pending the calendar of events and time of year.
Currently, player videos are a part of our PBR Plus subscription. After your event, you will receive a code providing access to PBR Plus for a penny during your first month of service. Your video will always stay live in your profile and be accessible to college coaches regardless of your subscription to PBR Plus.
How do I download my video?

My son came to an event, why isn’t he in the rankings?
What do I do if a college coach wants to watch my video?
Typically, most colleges subscribe to our site. But, if you run into a college that does not have a PBR Plus subscription, contact your state director and provide the college coach’s contact information, so that he can provide him temporary access to see your video.
How do I edit my profile?
There are a number of ways and levels of editing that can be done to a profile based upon your subscription.
If you have no subscription but have a profile you are linked to, one created from attending a PBR scouted tournament for example, you may edit the following by accessing your “Account Dashboard” through the “Profile” icon in the upper right-hand corner of any page, located next to the “Shopping Cart” icon: Personal Information, Address, Parent/Guardian Contact Information, and select parts of School Information (Primary/Secondary Position, Bat/Throw, Height/Weight, and Club Team).

The "Find A Player" tab is located on the right-side of any page under the "What's New" and "Rankings"/"Events" feed. Clicking the "Find A Player" tab will cause a dropdown to appear so you may perform your search. If you still can't find your profile with that, contact your State Director.
How can I claim my profile?
If you have had a profile created for you, through a PBR scouted tournament for example, you must claim the profile in order to be able to edit it. First, search your profile using the “Find a Player” tab located on the right-side of any page under the "What's New" and "Rankings"/"Events" feed. Clicking the "Find A Player" tab will cause a dropdown to appear so you may perform your search. Once you have found your profile, you can claim it by clicking the “learn how you can edit it.” link underneath the “Statistics” section of your profile. You will then be prompted to create a PBR Account, if you have already done that then simply enter your email and after your request is review by PBR Staff, your account and profile will be linked.
LIMITED SERIES QUESTIONS
What is the PBR Limited Series?
The PBR Limited Series are high profile, invite only tournaments that are promoted and scouted by our State and National PBR Staff. Teams are selected through a large database and intensive player and team review by appointed PBR staff. This is an invite only event and teams will be invited directly by the PBR Staff. Having these smaller invite only events will create an atmosphere of top competition and visibility for everyone involved.
Dates and locations of the PBR Limited Series events can be found HERE.
How do we get a team into a PBR Limited Series event and how much does each event cost?
PBR Limited Series events are invite only events. To request an invite, click the appropriate links on the specific tournament page you would like to attend, or contact the state director in which the event will be held.
Each event will vary in price based on the location of the event.
Why should we request an invite to a PBR Limited Series event? What is different?
The PBR Limited Series events will be directly scouted by PBR scouts. Each player will receive a free PBR player profile and our PBR staff members will update the profiles with verified stats and videos throughout the event. The event will include coverage leading up to the event, as well as during and post event to give the athletes and programs unprecedented exposure.
How many teams will participate in each event?
Each PBR Limited Series event will vary, but no event will have more than 32 teams. The goal of the event is to give each athlete and program as much exposure as possible. By keeping all the games in a designated location, and not having teams travel all over each state, this allows for the scouts in attendance to stay in one location and see all of the athletes participating in the event.
