Family[]

Komand'r (Sister)[]

Starfire (Titans)/Relationships (1)

Unlike the comics, the sisters' roles were reversed, where Koriand'r is the first-born daughter instead of Komand'r. Even though they were both raised in a privileged life with servants and good education, Komand'r never really felt loved by her family or people; however, in recent years, Koriand'r and Komand'r seem to have reconciled.

When they were children, their relationship was trained to say the least. Komand'r's pyrokinetic powers were transferred to her sister by their father to cover his lie that Kory was born with fire powers. Because of this, Komand'r was ridiculed by others, even by her sister. Koriand'r grew up to be the more successful princess of Tamaran and earned their parents' favoritism while Komand'r felt unloved by her family. To get back at Koriand'r, Komand'r discovered her sister's relationship with a royal guard and revealed the scandalous relationship to the world.

During her sister's time away from their homeworld, Komand'r finally snapped when her parents tried to have her sacrificed. She staged a coup and had her parents killed. Because of this, Kory came to hate her sister's actions, while being unaware what her parents were intending to do with her and. Koriand'r herself was largely unaware that she herself was partially responsible for Komand'r's coup. By this point, Koriand'r and Komand'r were enemies.

During Season 2, Komand'r sent Faddai to Earth to bring Koriand'r back from Tamaran. When this failed, Komand'r took matters into her own hands to force her sister. During the third season, Koriand'r is forced to rescue her sister from being experimented on by scientists. Reluctantly, Komand'r joined the Titans, but only so Koriand'r could keep a close eye on her sister. When Komand'r first met the team, she teased her sister when she watched Cory's interactions with Dick and implied that he "pleases" Kori. Despite their major differences, Komand'r secretly wanted her and her sister to rule Tamaran together, even trying to convince her sister to abandon the Titans in Gotham

Myand'r (Father)[]

When Koriand'r was born, Myand'r was horrified to learn she did not possess the ability to create or manipulate fire, which is a telltale sign in the culture that determines the true heir of the throne. Because Koriand'r was born during a time of great upheaval and an unrest civilization on Tamaran, Myand'r lied and states his daughter was born with the gift. When their second daughter Komand'r was born with the ability, Myand'r had a Tamaran priest magically transfer Kom's power to their eldest daughter to make his lie a reality. Throughout most of her life, Koriand'r was doted on by her parents, never truly knowing the lengths they have gone to give her sister fire powers. Because of this scandal, Komand'r grew up to be an outcast and fueled their rivalry years into the future.

As an adult, Koriand'r was given the task of saving Tamaran and the universe from Trigon by her parents and sent to Earth to eliminate Trigon's half-human daughter, Raven, who was his only portal. Unfortunately, she lost all of her memories when she suffered amnesia from a car accident and all memories of her parents. However, during Koriand'r's time away from Tamaran, Komand'r committed a coup against her parents and had them killed to assume the throne.

After learning what her father did to Komand'r when they were children, Kory is visibly and understandably shocked by his actions, changing her views on her father forever. As adults, the spell reversed and the pyrokinetic powers were returned to the rightful owner.

Luand'r[]

When Koriand'r was born, Luand'r was surprised to learn she did not possess the ability to create or manipulate fire. Her and her husband told a priestess, despite being warned of the consequences, to transfer Komand'r's power into Koriand'r to maintain her husband's lie of their eldest daughter receiving the gift to create fire. While Luand'r and her husband doted on Koriand'r, they treated Komand'r unfairly. For example if Koriand'r made mistakes, she would be easily forgiven by Luand'r and Myand'r but Komand'r would be punished harshly.

During Koriand'r's time away from Tamaran, Komand'r committed a coup against her parents and had them killed in order to assume the throne. The death of their mother is what caused the animosity between Koriand'r and Komand'r to grow exponentially.
