I was kind of leary about this site, got a message and a few visits to my profile (all these women were very attractive by the way), and after reading the warnings fling.com took their advice. If something doesn't seem right it probably isn't. I did not feel safe giving a card with no safety symbols anywhere, googled transaction processing solutions, the only symbol that was displayed, and could not find it anywhere. Thanks to everyone here that confirmed my suspicions. Good luck.

thank you google - I had a strong feeling both sex search and fling were scams - I'm glad I was able to confirm this feeling in about 2 minutes with a simple google search.

what was suspicious for me(besides the flurry of email responses from women 5 minutes after I signed up even though I hadn't even posted a picture) is that you are not able to do local searches or look at profiles without paying. I mean I can't contact the women without paying the site anyways so why not let me drool all over myself looking at all the profiles - more incentive to sign up right? That is, assuming the profiles are convincingly real upon scrutiny which I'm guessing they aren't.

I met a few "Real" people on fling.com. Didn't pay for services. Set up a free account and met people in my area. I have friends that have did the same.

I first went on Fling in December 2007 and at that time it was saturated with cam girls and "girls" trying to entice guys to sign up to other sites [which was certainly not what the people who run Fling wanted!]. However, amid all the dross there were a few golden nuggets - genuine women looking for anything from a one nighter to marriage and babies. Unfortunately, most of the genuine women seemed to be in the US, while London seemed to be full of scammers. I rejoined Fling in January 2009 and found it a lot cleaner. The cam girls and scammers seem to have gone, and everyone who's responded to me has been genuine, as have the few I've actually got to meet. One thing you have to remember from the women's point of view is that they get flooded with really nasty messages from guys, real full on crap from the the first message, so it's not surprising if a lot of women just don't respond, even to a polite message. Another thing: look at the women doing video chatting. They're real, some of them give an amazing show as well as chat - and they don't charge for the privilege!

If you have any doubts about the girl's photo you should check it out to see where it came from. I use http://tineye.com It's a reverse check for photos. It compares the image not the file name. I use it almost every time I see a "just a bit too good to be true" photo. I looked up "keyra augustina" photo on google and loaded it on TinEye. I got 22 locations on the web for the exact same photo.

I can see why they use her photos - she does a lot of the "web cam " style of photos.

fling is one of the larger scams; all involved need prison time. Women do not post ads for sex on the internet. Think about it. eharmony.com, singles.net, craigslist personals, and adultfriendfinder are of course scams as well

Just a heads up to anyone who might spend any money on this site. I actually signed up for a month so I was already a paying member. Messaged a bunch of girls and got reponses back within the day and they all had the same story. Send me an email to my personal hotmail account so we can chat. After the inital message no response through the website or the personal email accounts. Every time you go to the site some of the girls on the first page are the same but a different city every time. Complete scam don't spend your moneyl
