What seats are shaded at Lincoln Financial Field? ›

For a shaded seat, seek out sections 106-134, C6-C35, or 207-239. Even seats in the upper reaches on the west side should be safe from the sun, thanks to the canopy covering the upper level. Seats on the east (visitor's) side of the stadium will largely remain in the sun for the majority of an early afternoon game.

Best Seats at Lincoln Financial Field

The best seats for a Philadelphia Eagles game are located in the sections closest to midfield. AKA those in the lower and club levels (and in the first few rows of the 200 level). Those sitting at the 100 level want to aim to sit above row 10.

The NFL (whose rules many stadiums follow) allows any bags made of clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC that do not exceed 12 x 6 x 12 inches and don't have buckles, hardware, or decor — and the SEC follows similar rules.

Bottles, cans or beverage containers of any kind are not allowed into Lincoln Financial Field. A search will be conducted at the gates to prevent these and other prohibited items from entering the stadium. Exceptions will be made for those with medical requirements and/or special needs.

Fans are allowed to carry in one large clear bag, either a one-gallon Ziploc style bag or the 12″ by 6″ by 12″ clear bag, plus a small clutch into the stadium with them.

Seats in the Shade

There are plenty of shady seats at Sloan Park. All seats in section 110-116 are shaded, and seats in section 107-109 aside from the first row or two will be as well. By about 230PM the seats in sections 102-109 become shaded.

Rows farther from the field will get shade faster than those closer to the field. By early-afternoon seats in the southwest corner and the west side of the stadium (left) become shaded while those on the east side of the stadium (right) and near the pirate ship are exposed to direct sun.

For those wanting to sit in the shade, we offer Club Seating under a shade cover in sections 106A, 106B, and 107A. The Right Field Pavilion is partially shaded, and you can also catch some shade in the upper rows of several seating sections behind Home Plate.

Sections 204-206-208-210 start of the game you are in the sun. As the day goes you are in the shade. Visitors side dugout the start you are in the sun but the same as the game progresses you are in the shade. 207 209 211 213 Sections 200 201 202 203 you are behind Home Plate and the entire game you are in the shade.
