Job Title: NetSuite Migration Specialist (QuickBooks to NetSuite)
Job Description:
We’re seeking a skilled NetSuite Migration Specialist to lead our accounting conversion from QuickBooks to NetSuite. This role is critical for ensuring a seamless transition and optimizing our financial systems for improved efficiency and accuracy. We need a confident professional with extensive experience in accounting conversions, particularly recent hands-on experience with multiple QuickBooks to NetSuite implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end migration process from QuickBooks to NetSuite, ensuring all accounting data is accurately transferred and mapped.
- Collaborate closely with the finance team to understand their needs and configure NetSuite to support financial operations effectively.
- Develop and execute a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Provide training and support to the finance team on NetSuite functionalities and best practices.
- Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the migration process to ensure a smooth transition.
- Work onsite in Compton, CA, five days a week, with potential for a hybrid schedule for highly qualified candidates.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with recent QuickBooks to NetSuite conversions, ideally multiple implementations.
- Strong background in accounting, with a degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Extensive experience in systems implementation and migration, specifically with NetSuite.
- Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end implementations, completing projects within 3 months on average.
- Deep understanding of how NetSuite needs to function to support finance operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with a diverse team and providing clear guidance and support.
- Confidence and a strong personality to match the hiring manager's dynamic leadership style.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree from a respected institution in Accounting.
- 8+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on systems implementation and migration.
- Experience managing 3+ end-to-end NetSuite implementations and advising on several others from midway to completion.
