Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Product Manager with a passion for breaking down complex technical problems into manageable, well-understood pieces. You will own and help manage deliverables for our Platform team, a multi-discipline engineering team responsible for the foundations of our platform. You will represent the needs of our engineers and customers to deliver some of the most impactful and complex work we ship.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and product management, to define and prioritize product features and requirements.
Break down complex technical problems into manageable and well-understood components.
Own and manage deliverables for the Platform team, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
Represent the needs of engineers and customers, balancing technical requirements with business goals.
Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Facilitate communication and coordination between stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
Conduct regular status meetings and reviews, providing updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and team efficiency.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Senior Technical Product Manager or similar role with a focus on managing complex technical projects.
Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex issues into actionable steps.
Experience working with multi-discipline engineering teams.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently in a remote team environment.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in platform development and infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Previous experience working in a remote or distributed team.
Technical background or experience in software engineering.
